I am a wanderer — a flâneuse in the city, a barefoot child in the forest, a selkie in the sea.
As I explore, I gather photographs, videos and field recordings, transmuting these collections into studious ink drawings, colorful paintings on wood, ephemeral moving collages and experimental sonic landscapes.
Themes such as metamorphosis, deep time & space, architectural decay, microscopic realms and watery growth loop through my various media, connecting them in an overall study of life.
For my live audiovisual performances, I layer these collected videos & sounds, then manipulate them in real-time…controlling the audio with one hand, video with the other. It’s an exhilarating challenge!

I'll float naked in lakes under the full moon, and crawl under rocks to film snails... I'll draw leaves kissing, and paint the colors of the skies... I'll meet fascinating strangers and ask them to tell us their tales... I'll make music with neglected sounds, and weave my dreams into rainbows that you can eat with your eyes...
We won't know where we're going until we smell the salt air...
And when I dive into the waves, you'll hear your own heart calling to be free. ....................
I am an independent, full-time artist with 20 years of experience in gallery shows, public speaking, craft markets, curation & collaboration. I also spent those 20 years mostly tethered to one location as the primary caregiver for my sweet lil Mama. Now that she has Returned to Stardust, we can both find new ways for our spirits to be free.
